Family Resource Center Coordinator
MAHUBE-OTWA is actively recruiting a Family Resource Center Coordinator for our Agency. The Family Resource Center Coordinator will alongside a Parent Advisory Group and multiple community stakeholder organizations to open and coordinate a Family Resource Center focused on parental resilience, social connections, concrete supports, knowledge of parenting and child development, and social and emotional competence of children and families.
Responsible to coordinate and publicize activities that currently exist, identify opportunities where gaps exist, and work in partnership with community members to create opportunities for engagement of families.
Pay: $27.99 - $29.51
Schedule: Day Shift, Monday – Friday, 40 hours/week, full time, non-exempt, year-round

Requirements
Qualifications include but are not limited to:
- Four (4) year degree (BA or BS) required with a preference in Education, Human Services, or Early Childhood.
- Familiarity with family systems and public and private community-based services.
- Knowledge and ability to develop an effective and professional working relationship with partners, families, and coworkers.
- Must understand the impact of adverse childhood experiences on child and adult development, along with trauma-informed and other appropriate interventions in a Whole Family Approach.
- Must be able to engage in problem resolution, assess need/problem objectively, and manage crisis situations.
- Must possess strong organizational and interpersonal relationship skills as well as the ability to be resourceful, flexible, adaptable, and demonstrate commitment.
- Must be able to communicate effectively both orally and in writing. Must have the ability to express/exchange ideas and provide instructions to clients, the public or other employees.
- Must be able to honor private/confidential information.
- Must possess a valid Driver’s License, vehicle insurance, good driving record and willingness to use personal vehicle in the course of employment.
- Must qualify to work with young children through DHS Background Study.
