Since 1983, WE Fest has brought the biggest names in country music to Soo Pass Ranch in Detroit Lakes, MN. While the music is on stage, the real experience is powered by the team behind the scenes.

Gate Crew
Overview

Be the front line of the WE Fest experience. Gate Crews manage entry into the concert bowl, ensuring guests are welcomed efficiently while maintaining accurate and secure access control.
 

Key Responsibilities

• Scan guest tickets using RFID equipment
• Verify ticket types and ensure proper access to designated areas
• Assist guests with entry questions and basic troubleshooting
• Maintain smooth, efficient flow at entry points during peak times
• Monitor for invalid or incorrect credentials and communicate with leadership as needed

 

Skills & Qualifications

• Comfortable using handheld scanning equipment and technology
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Friendly, professional, and guest-focused
• Able to stay calm and efficient in high-volume situations

 
Schedule
Shifts take place throughout the festival, with peak staffing during main entry times and headline performances.
1st shift 12:30 pm - 7 pm Thursday, August 6th through Saturday, August 8th
2nd shift 6:30 pm - 12:30 am Thursday, August 6th through Sunday, August 9th at 12:30 am
